I can breathe on my own, walk on my own.
I can use the bathroom without assistance.
I know that I'll have three meals tomorrow, with snacks on the side.
I have friends I can talk to and family that I know won't abandon me.
I can love and be loved.
I can speak my mind.
I'm not afraid of my thoughts.
I can laugh, listen to music, yell, cry.
I'm aware of my strengths and accept my weaknesses.
I express myself without hesitation.
I can snuggle and lounge.
I can walk and be active.
I live comfortably.
I live. I'm alive. If that's nothing worth celebrating...then I don't know what is.
